Leaders
Dan & Rachel HunterLead PastorsDan and Rachel are the founding and Lead Pastors of Living Church. They have enjoyed over 17 years of marriage and ministry together. Sixteen of those years were spent right here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Dan has served those years in student ministry, including pastoring and leading locally, and resourcing, networking, and consulting nationally through conferences and products. He has also served many of those years as an Executive Pastor while overseeing young adult, student, and kids ministries. In addition, Rachel has directed and recorded four live worship albums during her ten years of serving and innovating in music ministry. Together, they have worked hard to catalyze growth through equipping leaders, urging innovation, and helping people live for God. Dan and Rachel and their twin girls, Jordyn and Avery, live in Mansfield, TX, but frequent sushi bars, movie theaters, and booster chairs all over the world. |
Brian McNabbAssistant Pastor of DevelopmentBrian has been investing in student, kids, young adult, and worship ministry for the last 12 years in Mustang, Oklahoma. During that time, he has also had the opportunity to speak and lead worship both nationally and internationally at camps, conferences, and conventions. While the international and national opportunities are great, his heart beats for the local community and schools. Brian now lives in Mansfield, TX and though he misses his Oklahoma Sooners, he’s glad to be close to the beloved and legendary Dallas Cowboys. |
Preston & Ana HornAssistant Pastors of Creative & OperationsPreston likes to see movies, and Ana is willing to go as long as there will be Starbucks, shopping, or traveling at some point. He has a background in advertising and media, while she focuses on church management and operations. They both love using their gifts in ministry and are excited to plant Living Church in order to reach the community and teach others how to live for God. Look for them at the movies, places like New York City, or your local shopping destination, because they’re probably there right now. |
Truston & Rachel BabaAssistant Pastors of OutreachTruston and Rachel have a strong desire to reach the lost and meet the needs of others. After growing up in Michigan, Truston loaded his life into his Jeep and moved to the great country of Texas. He began faithfully serving as an Outreach Pastor at a church in the Dallas area. His passion to reach people is realized in leading missions and community projects while teaching regularly and other crazy “stuff”. Rachel grew up in the mission field and has a testimony that proves God truly is the good father. On a daily basis, she reaches out to students as a high school Spanish teacher. Together they are helping launch Living Church focusing on outreach and evangelism in the local and global community. Their heart is to change lives by simply aiming the light of Christ. They love spending their time with family, friends and fajitas! |
Derek & Lacy GuynesAssistant Pastors of WorshipDerek has served in worship ministry for 9 years, whether as a drummer, guitar player, keyboard player, or worship leader. His songs have been recorded on several live worship recordings, as well as a studio album released in June, 2010. Derek and his wife Lacy are in love with Jesus, and want to join with His people in living for God! They enjoy all kinds of sports – particularly tennis, where Lacy holds just a slight advantage in the all-time series. Ok, maybe not so slight. |
Eric & Natalie MorrisAssistant Pastors of ConnectionEric and Natalie grew up around missions, but they both feel that the local church is the most powerful tool for reaching those who are away from God and encouraging those close to Him. Since 2002, Eric has served in youth ministry from volunteer leadership to leading a youth ministry team. They both have given their lives to see people plugged into the local church, living fully committed to Christ. Their passion is simply knowing God in a genuine uninhibited way, and allowing this passion to flow into others. Eric and Natalie love when their house is full with friends and family, but most people come only to see their daughter Ella. The only division in the marriage comes in the form of the Red River Rivalry, he is from Texas and she is from Oklahoma. Don’t ask them about it, it’s a sensitive subject. |
Candace CockerhamAssistant Pastor of KidsCandace has loved serving in student ministry for the past six years and is ready to jump into kids ministry, a place not so foreign to her. With a degree in theatre and a passion for doing creative ministry, Candace knows that kids need more than just puppet shows and felt board lessons. She is super excited to combine relevance with spiritual truth while serving the kids and families of Mansfield. If you go looking for her, you might find Candace jamming out to a musical soundtrack, sporting the color purple, or grabbing an iced vanilla hazelnut latte at the nearest Starbucks she can find. |
